GIVING GREEN BACK
Our planet thrives as a balanced system where each organism’s role is intimately intertwined with the survival and health of the overall environment. As an industrialized society with an ever-increasing number of consumers, humanity has perpetually disrupted nature’s balance and has placed an immense strain on our planet’s non-renewable resources. As it takes one snowflake at a time to create an avalanche and a collection of raindrops to fuel a raging river, we believe the changes an individual makes can soon be felt at the global level. One person can make a difference.
The decisions we make every day from the food we eat, the cars we drive, the energy we consume and the environment we encroach are as important a group of decisions as any other facing humankind in the 21st century. What we do now absolutely benefits or detracts from the lifestyles of our children and grandchildren. The foundations of future generations are being laid today.
The Giving Green Back initiative is one way to reverse the direction of near insatiable consumerism. In that we have for generations taken from the planet, isn’t it time to find both individual and collective find ways to minimize our footprint, to repay our planet all the while Giving Green Back.
